Sterile – Placental Derived Biomaterials
Sterile D-MAPPS (Decellularized Multiple Allogeneic Proteins Paracrine Signaling) is currently the only placental derived biomaterial product available offering a sterile alternative without utilizing terminal sterilization. Sterile D-MAPPS incorporates Regenerative Processing Plant’s proprietary patent pending sterilization process to provide a safe sterile product. The product comes cryopreserved using our “Cryo-Activ”™ controlled freeze drying method that further protect its integrity.
How it works
Placental derived biomaterials have been used for centuries in the treatment of different maladies and conditions. These biomaterials are a mixture of beneficial collagens, cytokines, elastins and growth factors that can proliferate the treatment, healing and regenerative qualities of the human body. The presence of extracellular matrices can help to provide a natural scaffold that may accelerate healing while potentially reducing the incidence of inflammation and scarring.
Why it works
Placental derived biomaterials are said to be immune privileged, rarely inducing a resistant reaction to the recipient. The presence of multiple growth factors such as, VEG, TGFB1, TGFB3 and GDF11 (also called GD11, BMP11, and GDF-11) can promote cell growth and regeneration of healthy collagens I, II, III, IV, V and VI that help proliferate healing.
Sterile D-MAPPS should be stored at <-80º C and can be store for 2 yr. at the recommended temperature.
Sterile D-MAPPS is for one patient / single use only and any remaining fluid must be discarded after transplant.
